About Spectra Cure Clinics Egypt

The First Hub in New Cairo to Unite Behavioural Development and Functional Medicine

Most families arrive after a long round of separate opinions. Spectra was built so that the medical picture and the developmental picture are read together, by one team, in one place — and turned into a single written plan you can actually follow.

Who we are

One team reading the whole child

Spectra Cure Clinics Egypt is an integrated child development centre in New Cairo, and an extension of Spectra Dubai. We bring pediatrics, functional medicine, developmental-behavioral assessment and a full multidisciplinary therapy team under one roof — so a family does not have to assemble the answer themselves from four different clinics.

The difference is not the number of services. It is that they are read together. A child who is not talking may have a speech difficulty, a hearing history, a feeding pattern and a sleep problem all at once. Assessed separately, each gets its own plan. Assessed together, they get one plan with the right thing first.

We work with children from around two to twelve years, and also see infants for early developmental follow-up and teenagers where it is appropriate. Families reach us from across Greater Cairo, and from outside Egypt through online consultation.

What we believe

Six commitments we can be held to

These are not slogans — each one changes something concrete about how a visit to Spectra actually goes.

01

What is driving it, not just how it looks

We look for what is driving a difficulty, not only what it looks like from the outside. That sometimes means the first appointment is an assessment, not a therapy session.

02

One plan, not four opinions

The consultant sets the priorities and every department works to the same written goals. You get one document, one point of contact and one set of expectations.

03

The family is part of the team

Parents are in the room for the findings, in plain language, in Arabic or English. Home and school are built into the plan because that is where most of the week happens.

04

Measured, then adjusted

Progress is reviewed jointly across departments and the plan changes as the child changes. Functional medicine programmes include a three-month review.

05

Honest about limits

We do not promise cures, percentages or fixed timelines. If a child does not need a service, we say so. If something is outside our scope, we say where to go.

06

Children first, always

Sessions are built around what a child can actually tolerate and enjoy. Participation is the goal — at home, at nursery, at school and with other children.

Who leads the care

The consultants behind every plan

Every assessment at Spectra is led by a named consultant you can read about before you book — not an anonymous “medical team”.

Straight answers

What you can expect — and what we will never say

A clinic that is clear about its limits is easier to trust than one that promises everything.

What every family gets

  • A written, stamped plan after assessment — findings, goals, departments, and how progress is measured.
  • Reports in English by default, in Arabic on request.
  • One point of contact in the patient care team instead of chasing departments.
  • Referral inside the clinic when another perspective would help.
  • School and nursery involvement, with your consent.
  • A three-month review on functional medicine programmes.

What we will not do

  • We will not give a diagnosis over the phone, WhatsApp or online without an in-clinic assessment.
  • We will not promise a cure, a recovery percentage or a fixed number of sessions.
  • We will not start therapy before an assessment, or sell a package your child does not need.
  • We will not use your child’s photos or progress for marketing without written consent.
  • We will not tell you a difficulty has disappeared when what changed is how well your child copes with it.
  • We will not hide findings — including when the answer is that nothing is wrong.
Areas we support

Eleven areas, assessed together

Most children arrive with more than one of these at the same time — which is exactly why they are assessed by one team rather than in separate clinics.

Common questions

What families ask before choosing us

Eight questions we hear most from parents in New Cairo.

What makes Spectra different from a normal therapy centre?

Most centres deliver one discipline well. Spectra reads the medical picture and the developmental picture together, then writes one plan. A child who is not talking might have a speech difficulty, a feeding pattern and a sleep problem at once — assessed separately each gets its own plan, assessed together they get one plan with the right thing first.

Is Spectra Egypt connected to Spectra Dubai?

Yes. Spectra Cure Clinics Egypt is a licensed medical entity in New Cairo and an extension of Spectra Dubai. The Egypt clinic has its own consultants, its own therapy departments and its own service list built for families here.

What ages do you work with?

Our core focus is children from around two to twelve years. We also see infants for early developmental and newborn follow-up, and teenagers where appropriate. Some functional medicine and psychology services are available to adults, so parents can be seen too.

Do we have to start with an assessment?

In almost every case, yes. Starting therapy without an assessment means guessing which department a child needs. The assessment is what tells us the order — and sometimes it tells us a service is not needed at all.

Which languages does the team work in?

Arabic and English. Consultations, therapy and parent training run in either, and bilingual speech and language therapy is available. Reports are issued in English by default and in Arabic on request.

Can families outside Cairo or outside Egypt work with you?

Yes. Families travel to us from across Greater Cairo, and we offer online consultation for those outside Cairo or abroad. Diagnosis is never given online without a proper in-clinic assessment.

Where are you and when are you open?

2nd Floor, Building B, Saga Boulevard Complex, Mohamed Naguib Axis, New Cairo 3 (Fifth Settlement), with entrance from the parking area. Open daily 10 AM to 9 PM, including Friday.

How do we start?
