Department leads

Every Specialist, by Department

Once the assessment sets the priorities, these are the people who deliver them. Every clinician works to the same written plan, so goals are shared across departments instead of competing. Each name below opens a full profile with qualifications and areas of focus.

Behind the department leads sits a wider team of more than twenty therapists, psychologists, psychometrists and specialists across every department — including bilingual speech and language therapy, psychology, oral-placement therapy, early intervention and the assessment unit.

Not sure who to book

Who Should We See First?

You do not have to work this out alone — but if you would like a starting point, here is who families usually begin with. The assessment can always redirect it.

Still unsure? Describe what you are seeing and our care coordination team will choose the first appointment for you — message the clinic or request a booking.

How the team works

The Right Specialist, Without Fragmented Care

One team, one plan. Referrals happen inside the clinic, and every department works to the same written goals.

1

Listen

History, strengths, challenges and family priorities — collected before the visit so nothing starts from zero.

2

Assess

Medical and developmental findings are gathered together, and standardised measures used only where they add something.

3

Coordinate

One written set of priorities across departments, with the consultant and the department leads agreeing the goals.

4

Review

Progress is reviewed jointly and goals adjusted as your child develops. Functional medicine programmes include a three-month review.

Before you book

Questions Families Ask About Our Team

What parents in New Cairo most often want to know before choosing a clinician.

Which doctor should we see first?

It depends on what you are noticing. Speech, feeding and early milestones usually start with Dr. Mai Mohamed Ghazy; digestion, nutrition and recurrent illness with Dr. Mohamed Afify; newborn and neonatal follow-up with Dr. Ehab El Emam. If you are unsure, tell our care coordination team what you are seeing and they will choose for you.

Do the doctors and therapists actually work together?

Yes. The consultant sets the priorities from the assessment, and the department leads deliver them against the same written plan. Progress is reviewed jointly across departments rather than separately, so you do not end up holding four different opinions.

What languages does the team work in?

Arabic and English. Consultations, therapy sessions and parent training can be delivered in either, and bilingual speech and language therapy is available. Reports are issued in English by default and in Arabic on request.

Can we ask for a specific doctor or specialist?

Yes, you can request anyone by name when you book. If the assessment suggests a different clinician is a better fit for your child, we will say so and explain why — the choice stays yours.

Who follows up after the assessment?

The consultant who assessed your child stays responsible for the plan, and the relevant department lead runs the sessions. You get one point of contact in the patient care team rather than chasing several departments.

Where do we meet the team, and when are you open?

At the clinic in New Cairo — 2nd Floor, Building B, Saga Boulevard Complex, Mohamed Naguib Axis, New Cairo 3 (Fifth Settlement), entrance from the parking area. We are open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM, including Friday. Online consultations are available for families outside Cairo.

Not Sure Which Specialist to Book?

Tell us what you are noticing at home, at nursery or at school. Our care coordination team will match you to the right first appointment — no pre-set package, no pressure.
